If you want to make sure its working, try running a few games and/or restarting windows, then go back to the Lagom and photoscientia test sites and check that everything is still the same. Of course, game in Windowed or Windowed Fullscreen mode for your games to use the new color profile. I found that sometimes QuickGamma will load the color profile improperly and add Gamma and Contrast, so CPKeeper is the preferred method.

If CPKeeper doesn't work for some reason, QuickGamma lets you save your new calibration as a windows icc profile so windows doesn't override your new settings with its default. You can set it to autostart with windows too. To save your new Nvidia color profile and have it override the default windows profile, download CPKeeper ( ) and while your color settings are active, click the * icon to save your color profile, and then load it into CPKeeper. Also, every time you change a value, go back and quickly look at all the tests to make sure they still pass because all the settings slightly affect each other. It doesn't matter if you use HDMI or Display Port. Under Image quality, Contrast is 50, Color Temp is User with 50/50/50, and Gamma is 2.2. This blanks out the Brightness setting in the Image section, but from my testing with it off, you could set Brightness to anything and it would not change the color accuracy of the monitor, just the backlight.
LET THE MONITOR RUN FOR AT LEAST 30 MINUTES BEFORE DOING ANY CALIBRATION SO IT CAN WARM UP AND DISPLAY ITS TRUE COLORS.įor the OSD, I used Standard Mode with the Response Time feature on Normal, but the Response Time settings will not affect color accuracy, just make your screen a bit darker. I think the newer one (the G27C2, which is sometimes called the G27C for some reason) comes with almost the same panel, but it doesn't hurt to put the disclaimer. Just to note, this is the previous gen G27C from 2017 that comes with the adjustable stand (this one ). I used the photoscientia page to tune Gamma, because their Gamma tuning test is more accurate ( ).
